Doesn't Thanksgiving deserve to be celebrated before we begin on Christmas? Had to stop by the store last week, and the chistmas trees are all up, right by the thanksgiving decorations. I enjoy the holiday season, but I appreciate it more when we gear up for Christmas in mid December. Otherwise, you get burned out on it before the big day and ruin the mystery and magic of the season.
I remember as a kid putting up the tree, and when we did it was usually snowy out. There is nothing better than the sight of light spilling out windows onto the snow, the tree glowing in the background, and you know there is warmth and love and happiness just through the door. Take a moment before you go in to appreciate all that you have, and cherish the beauty of the world around you.
